The Spa Guys are New Zealand’s largest spa pool refurbishment specialists, working with spa equipment every day. This hands-on experience allows our technicians to diagnose and repair faults across a wide range of spa and pool equipment that many service companies simply replace.

At The Spa Guys, we specialise in the diagnosis and repair of spa and pool equipment at a component level.

Many companies simply replace entire circuit boards or controllers when faults occur. While this can resolve the issue, it is often unnecessarily expensive.

Our technicians are able to diagnose faults and repair equipment down to the individual electronic component, allowing many systems to be restored at a fraction of the cost of full replacement.

Advanced Workshop Testing

Our workshop is equipped with specialised diagnostic equipment allowing us to simulate real operating conditions during testing.

Using our Hydraulic Load Test Bench, we are able to operate pumps, heaters and controllers under live water flow conditions to confirm faults and verify repairs before equipment is returned.

Inspection & Diagnostic Fee

All equipment sent to our workshop is subject to a $79 inspection and diagnostic fee.

This covers the time required for our technicians to assess the equipment, perform electrical and functional testing, and identify the underlying fault.

If you proceed with the repair, the $79 inspection fee is removed from the repair cost.

If the repair is declined, the inspection fee covers the time spent diagnosing the issue.
